Northern Territory Species and landscaping Advice for tenants in the Top End>
This is an excellent leaflet giving tips for garden plantings, and what species to use where.
Whilst this is aimed specifically at government housing tenants it is a very useful guide to gardening to us all.
You may find a copy at the latest electorate office, or try ringing 8922 5529 or 8999 8842.

AN OPPORTUNITY TO HELP 'SAVE THE DALY'
ECNT has been running a major campaign over the last few years to protect the Daly from inappropriate development.
At present the Government is considering its options for the future of the Daly, including whether to extend the current moratorium on land clearing and pastoral subdivision. An announcement will hopefully be made before the NT election this year, which could even possibly be as early as the end of May. It is therefore a crucial time to let the Government know that only the highest possible protection for the Daly is acceptable and that we definitely don't want it to go the way of the Murray or any other degraded Australian river.
